St. Louis, MO—Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri (GSEM) was proud to celebrate the grand opening of their new Build-A-Bear Workshop, located within the GSEM Service Center at 2300 Ball Drive in Maryland Heights on May 31, 2025. In collaboration with Build-A-Bear Workshop, this unique space has been designed to create memorable experiences—providing a hands-on opportunity for the community to build plush companions while fostering creativity, confidence and joy.
“The launch represents more than a new addition to the GSEM Shop space but symbolizes the organization’s commitment to delivering mission-driven experiences that empower the overall community throughout eastern Missouri,” said GSEM CEO Dr. Natissia Small. “Profits from the new Build-A-Bear Workshop will directly support life-changing programs for girls across eastern Missouri – ensuring GSEM continues to provide high-quality, accessible experiences for every girl we serve.”
The GSEM Build-A-Bear Workshop will offer community members the signature make-your-own experience with a wide assortment of plush, including the iconic heart ceremony and customizable accessories and products that appeal to kids, teens and adults alike. The workshop will also offer a special selection of Girl Scout uniforms and apparel, to help youth showcase their Girl Scout pride.
