Highest Award Prerequisites
Going for your Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award means taking the lead to make the world a better place—starting right in your community. Whether you’re working with a team or leading one, you’ll build confidence and real-world skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and planning. Each award is a chance to grow as a leader, take action on what matters to you, and make a meaningful difference—at any age.

Training
Bronze Award Training
This course is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! This training will allow Girl Scouts to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit their completion.

Silver Award Training
This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! This training will allow Girl Scouts to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their completion.

Gold Award Training
This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high-school-aged girl can earn. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! Girl Scouts going for the Gold Award are required to attend this training; they’ll learn the seven steps necessary to complete their Gold Award project and how to submit their proposal on Go Gold.

Gold Award Drop-In Sessions
GSEM and the Gold Award Committee are here to assist Girl Scouts with the next steps to earn the Gold Award. Girl Scouts in grades 9-12 in the 2026-2027 school year and adults can join us for a Gold Award Drop-In Session, offered both in-person and virtually, as an opportunity to work on the project plan, discuss ideas, and ask questions alongside other Girl Scouts and Committee Members.
