Every Daisy Adventure Is Filled With Giggles, Energy & Excitement!

Welcome, Daisy leaders! Being a Daisy troop leader in Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri has never been easier with our customized Daisy Drop Box program. When you register for Daisy Drop Box, a troop meeting in a box will be delivered to your door each month during the school year at no charge. You’ll receive all you need to confidently lead K-1st grade troop meetings, no experience required! The boxes include step-by-step scripted meeting instructions, activity supplies for each registered Daisy plus information about Girl Scout events and programs in our council.

Through our 2026-2027 Daisy Drop Box program, first year Daisy troops earn all their Daisy petals and four badges, while second year Daisy troops earn eight other badges across the four Girl Scout program pillars: Outdoors, Life Skills, STEM and Entrepreneurship. Troops can purchase the petals and badges in our council’s local Girl Scout Shop in Maryland Heights.

When your Girl Scouts start second grade and move up to become Brownies, your support continues with our Brownie Bundle program!

Daisy Troop Leaders will first purchase or renew their 2026-2027 Girl Scout membership through their myGS account. Please see below for links to helpful tips and tutorials on this process.
Once your membership is current for the 2026-2027 Girl Scout year, stay logged in to your myGS account and simply click the green button above that describes the Daisy year of your troop (first or second year of Daisies). This will allow you to register for the Daisy Drop Box Program just as you would any other program we offer. (Please note that this is a complimentary program, but the system will still ask you to click ‘credit card’ when checking out. No card number will be required!)
During program registration, you’ll choose how many Daisies you anticipate will be in your troop. For example, if you are expecting 10 Daisies, you will select the range of 10-12. You will receive your first box packed with enough supplies for 12 Daisies. These extra supplies will come in handy if you have more girls interested in joining your troop! (Please note that we only provide supplies for Girl Scouts in the Daisy level.)
Your first box will be mailed based on the 2026-2027 Daisy Drop Box Schedule for your year (the schedules are in a drop-down box below).
- For first year troops, your welcome Daisy Drop Box will be mailed shortly after you register. Mailings will begin August 1. Typically, boxes arrive within a week after registration, depending on the local mail service. This box will provide customized meeting instructions and supplies for your first and second troop meetings, as well as instructions for your first meeting with troop families and caregivers.
- For returning troops in our second-year program, your Trail Adventure Daisy Drop Box will arrive before your troop meeting in September if you register by July 1!

Who is eligible to participate in the Daisy Drop Box program?

All Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Daisy troops are eligible to receive a Daisy Drop Box each month during the school year if they meet the following eligibility requirements:

The troop must have a registered leader who has a successful background check.
If leadership has changed, new leader training should be completed online in gsLearn under MyGS within 30 days.
Troops must maintain 5+ registered Daisies to participate in the Daisy Drop Box program.

Multi-level troops are welcome to participate in the program if they have a minimum of 5 registered Daisies. If troops also have 5 registered Brownies, they can register to receive the Brownie Bundle as well! Troops need to sign up for each program individually.

Each month, leaders can expect a Daisy Drop Box full of fun and adventure.

When leaders register for Daisy Drop Box, their boxes will include:

A welcome postcard explaining what the meeting will be about, the activity supplies provided and what other items leaders need to provide
An information postcard about upcoming Girl Scout events and programs for Daisies
Step-by-step scripted meeting instructions to earn that month’s petal(s) or badge
- Includes the steps to earn the petal or badge linked to the activities provided
- Girl Scout traditions, songs and movement games
- Additional optional activities for when troops may have a little extra time in their meetings
- Activity supplies for each registered Daisy
- A take-home item created by the Daisies (crafts, SWAPS, etc)

What do troops pay for the Daisy Drop Box program?

Daisy Drop Box is provided at no cost to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri leaders who register for the program. The only thing we ask of our troop leaders to help support the program, is to provide feedback through our online survey monthly after each box is used and to join our Daisy Drop Box rally on Rallyhood.

Are badges provided in the Daisy Drop Boxes?

The petals and badges earned are available for purchase in our council’s Girl Scout Shop. They are not included in the Daisy Drop Boxes.

If we participated in first year Daisy Drop Box, do we have to register for the second-year program?

Yes! Registration is required each year. This helps us keep a firm count on how many leaders and Daisies we are serving with this program.

Is it possible to change the order of boxes?

Troops that register for Daisy Drop Box will receive a schedule in their first box. It is not possible to change the order of the monthly boxes.

How will my box include supplies for all my registered Daisies if more join my troop later in the year?

Please ensure each Girl Scout is registered as soon as possible. If leaders don’t see their new Daisies on the troop roster, they are asked to email updated information to Pam Johnson, Daisy Drop Box Program Manager at pjohnson@girlscoutsem.org to ensure that we have correct packing data.

Do troops forming later in the year receive the entire schedule of Daisy Drop Box?

Troops will receive the next month's box after the date they register for the program. Please refer to the First Year 2026-2027 Daisy Drop Box Schedule or Second Year 2026-2027 Daisy Drop Box Schedule for more details.

How many supplies will be in my first box?

Troops will register for the program with the number of Daisies they expect to be in their troop. For example, if you expect 10 Daisies, you would click on the 10-12 Daisies range in the drop-down box. In your welcome box for August/ September box, you will receive enough supplies for 12 Daisies.

How can leaders give feedback?

We rely on our leaders to make it a priority to complete the short online Daisy Drop Box survey about each individual box their troop uses. This feedback is used to make changes, providing the best experience for our leaders and Daisies. Completion of the survey also lets us know the troop is actively using the boxes provided in our complimentary program.

How is information communicated?

We use a private online platform, Rallyhood, to communicate important information with our Daisy Drop Box leaders. An email invitation to join our Daisy Drop Box Rally (either first or second year) is sent to leaders after they register for the program, check your spam or junk email folder if you don’t see it in your inbox. Be sure to accept the rally invitation to join our online community and gain access to leader and meeting resources beyond what is included in your boxes!
