Meet the Dessert First Emcee
Margie Ellisor is the co-anchor of the number one rated FOX 2 News in the Morning newscast from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. You can also catch her popular “Margie’s Money Saver” on Facebook, because as she says, “Saving dollars just makes sense.”
Margie has been a trusted face on FOX 2 for more than 25 years. In addition to her television work, she’s had an impressive career in radio. She co-hosted the morning show Smash and Margie in the Morning on KSD-FM, anchored news on Z-107-7, and served as a newscaster and cast member on the nationally syndicated Steve and DC Radio Show.
Her dedication and excellence in journalism have earned her five Emmy Awards, recognizing her contributions to community service, news, and best morning newscast. She has also received honors from the Missouri Broadcasters Association for Outstanding News Series and from the Kansas City Press Club for spot news coverage.
Margie is the proud Mother of 3 children & while she grew up in Minnesota is proud to call St Louis home.
