April Showers 2026

April 17-19 - Door-to-Door Distribution
The first
weekend, girls, their leaders and families distribute sticky notes
door-to-door throughout the Council’s jurisdiction.
April 18 - Showering the Community
Girl Scouts across
eastern Missouri will host the annual “Showering the Community” event.
Girl Scouts will set up mini collection sites, like a table or booth
at participating stores in our jurisdiction to encourage donations and
collect personal care items for individuals and families in need.
April 25 - Donation Collection
The second Saturday,
girls return and collect donations of personal care items. These items
are counted and donated to local pantries and shelters.
April 17-26 - Online Registries/Passive Drive at Schnucks and
Dierbergs Locations Available
Community members will be able to purchase donations online
through Amazon’s Charity List or Target’s Charity Registry. Donations
will be shipped directly to GSEM to be distributed to participating agencies.
