April Showers is about giving back to those in need
That’s a wrap! April Showers has come to a close for 2026. Thank you to everyone who supported our Girl Scouts as they worked together to help those in need by collecting personal care items through April Showers. With your help, we were able to support hundreds of agencies throughout eastern Missouri!

April Showers Support
If you have any questions about the April Showers program, please email Abby Muir or call 314.592.2312.
A special thanks to:
In partnership with Operation Food Search, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri has collected and distributed more than 29 million personal care items to local families and individuals in need.
In partnership with both Schnucks Markets, Inc. and Dierbergs, Girl Scouts collect personal care item donations from customers shopping at their stores through our Showering the Community event. Both Schnucks and Dierbergs host passive drives within their stores to collect thousands of donations throughout 10 days of our April Showers campaign.
Our Volunteers!
Thank you to every one of you who participates in our campaign. We could not accomplish this without our April Showers Coordinators, Troop Leaders, and dedicated volunteers. We appreciate you immensely!
