Organizations Providing Acceptable Evidence of Insurance Coverage

The below database can be used to determine if an external entity has provided Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri with acceptable evidence of their insurance coverage.

online database form by Ragic

The below exceptions are not listed in the database but have provided acceptable evidence of insurance coverage and a COI does not need to be requested.

(A)  Catholic parishes, churches, schools and agencies operated by the Archdiocese of St. Louis, which covers St. Louis City and the counties of Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, Perry, St. Charles, St. Francois, St. Louis and Ste. Genevieve. Use of Catholic facilities in the other 18 counties in GSEM’s jurisdiction continues to require that COIs be obtained.

(B)  Public school districts insured through Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC). This covers all school districts in GSEM’s jurisdiction EXCEPT Kirksville, Crawford County R-II, Fox, Brookfield, LaPlata, Middle Grove, St. Louis Public, and St. Louis County Special, for which COIs must still be obtained.

(C)  Sites and facilities operated or administered by the State of Missouri or its departments. This exemption does not apply to sites and facilities operated or administered by any county or municipality.

(D)  Cities, including their parks and recreation facilities, insured through the St. Louis Area Insurance Trust (SLAIT), Missouri Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (MIRMA) or Missouri Public Entity Risk Management Fund (MOPERM).
