This certification provides individuals with a foundation of first aid skills to respond to emergencies and care in areas without immediate emergency medical response (EMS) at an activity location.
This certification is required when EMS takes more than 30 minutes to arrive at a location. Participants must attend this two-day course and complete all skills assessments. Some skills demonstrations may require strenuous physical activity. This certification is valid for two years.
