Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Launches Unprecedented $50 million Comprehensive Campaign

St. Louis, MO – March 2, 2022 – Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri publicly launched a $50 million comprehensive campaign on February 24, 2022, the largest-ever investment in girl development in the eastern Missouri region and the largest philanthropic effort in the organization’s history. This unprecedented investment will ensure that each girl in the eastern Missouri region has an opportunity to be the leader she wants to be, and the one the world needs her to be.
The Her Future is Our Future Campaign, chaired by Jo Ann Taylor Kindle, chairperson of Enterprise Holdings Foundation, has secured more than $45 million to date. The campaign allows the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri to remain steadfast in its mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place, while further developing its innovative programming, improving facilities and infrastructure, and creating a pipeline of future leaders in our community.

Taylor Kindle has been instrumental in the success of the campaign. A champion for girl leadership development, Taylor Kindle has provided vision and leadership to help expand opportunities for all girls so they can grow into strong members of our community. A mother of two former Girl Scouts, and Girl Scout volunteer, Taylor Kindle is committed to supporting the long-term success of Girl Scouts and investing in the next generation of female leaders.

No Greater Investment Than in Next Generation
Continually evolving over the decades to ensure the organization continues to serve all girls in relevant ways, the Her Future is Our Future campaign will help Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri reach girls in the region through four key priorities:
Capital Projects: Construction of relevant, tech-friendly, and accessible facilities that provide hands-on, experiential learning opportunities
Program Support: Bringing unrivaled innovation, creativity and growth to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri programming while collaborating with partners who are experts in their field.
Scholarships: Expanding opportunities and removing financial barriers so that no girl is turned away, regardless of family income or strife.
Endowment: Securing the future of Girl Scouting in eastern Missouri to ensure a lasting legacy and commitment to the organization’s mission.
