Girl Scouts can help Douglass Community Services by holding drives, helping in the pantry and assisting with distribution. All levels are welcome to hold a food or personal care item drive at any time throughout the year. Toy drives are needed during the months of October and November. In the month of December, girls can assist with Toys for Tots distribution. Senior and Ambassador girls are invited to help out in the food pantry at anytime during the year. Ozark Food Pantry is looking for assistance with food drives as well as stocking and distributing products. Juniors and above can help the pantry by holding a food drive on their behalf. The Aquarium Foundation Stream Team invites Girl Scouts to help us Revamp the Riverfront- a three-part cleanup series, along the Mississippi Greenway on April 30th, June 8th, and September 17th, 2022. While picking up trash, citizen science data will be collected through the Marine Debris Tracker project. Join us as we prevent plastic pollution from entering the Mighty Mississippi River and, eventually, our oceans! Gloves, bags, trash grabbers, and snacks will be provided!

Operation Clean Stream - a water-based cleanup of the Meramec River held the 4th weekend of August each year.
River des Peres Trash Bash - trash and litter clean up of parks and streams in the River des Peres watershed of St. Louis City and St. Louis County held in October each year.
Confluence Trash Bash - a trash and litter clean up of parks and streams along the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers held in April each year.
Operation Wild Lands - year round events to plant trees, remove invasive species and restore wildlife habitat in various parks and conservation areas in the St. Louis area
