Dessert First 2025
Dessert First 2025 was a very special evening where passion met purpose. Over the last 15 years, Dessert First has evolved into a cornerstone event, bringing together Girl Scout supporters, community leaders, and educational partners who all share a deep commitment to girl leadership development. This annual gala not only celebrated the transformative power of Girl Scouts but also helped ensure that our organization can continue to deliver impactful programs that build courage, confidence, and character in every girl we serve.
Congratulations to our People’s Choice Award Winner, Pastry Sous Chef, Sara Alderson from the Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta. Her lemon poppy raspberry Trefoil bar was a culinary delight! Thank you to all eleven participating chefs for their wonderful Girl Scout Cookie-inspired creations.
Thank you for supporting our Eastern Missouri Girl Scouts! Together we can ensure our girls not only reach their dreams but soar higher!

Dessert First honors one Corporate/Foundation Legacy Builder, one Community Legacy Builder, and one Education Legacy Builder.
The honorees are chosen because of the enormous support and service they have provided to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.
2025 Changemaker Scholarship Awardees
At this special event, we celebrate the leadership and service of outstanding Girl Scouts and award three Changemaker Scholarships of $5,000 to be used for higher education. Scholarship recipients must have earned their Gold Award,
the highest recognition available to Girl Scouts.
