Get ready for liftoff at Astronaut Academy, a two-day summer adventure for Junior Girl Scouts! On Day 1, step inside an inflatable planetarium for an out-of-this-world astronomy presentation by the Challenger Learning Center and explore the science behind stars, planets, and space travel. On Day 2, we'll take a field trip to Wings of Hope, where Juniors will learn about aviation, aircraft, and how flight connects to space exploration. Along the way, Girl Scouts will complete exciting space science experiments and astronaut training challenges, building teamwork, curiosity, and confidence as they reach for the stars! Lunch and transportation are included. Registered adults will be supporting the program as a volunteer and are required to be a member and have an approved background check.
