During Hoofprints, Girl Scout Juniors will build and expand upon their existing equestrian skills with a horseback ride around the beautiful Camp Cedarledge arena or a trail ride through camp. They will also learn the value of good horsemanship, discovering the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to form a harmonious relationship with a horse, such as treating the horse with respect and working with its natural instincts and behavior to create a safe and positive riding experience.
Horseback riding participants must wear closed toed/closed heel shoes and long pants.
