Deepen your outdoor skills and appreciation with other older Girl
Scouts! Seniors and Ambassadors will spend a weekend adventuring
outdoors, sleeping under the stars, and honing their outdoor
expertise. Tents and communal gear are provided by council. A virtual,
evening prep meeting will be held Thursday, July 24.
*Senior
Girl Scouts are required to attend a CPR class to complete their
Outdoor Journey. The CPR class will be held on August 5, but other
arangements can be made.
A Senior/Ambassador Journey is a
prerequisite to a Girl Scout Gold Award. Seniors will earn their
Outdoor Journey (Adventurer, Senior First Aid, Adventure Camper).
Ambassadors will earn their Outdoor Journey (Outdoor Art Master,
Water, Survival Camper). Both levels will earn part of their take
action project.
