Due to our current COVID guidelines - only one troop is allowed to use the Climbing Wall/Zip Line per time slot. If there are less than 10 spots available, a troop has already claimed that session time.
The Climbing Wall and Zip Line is located at Camp Fiddlecreek in Labadie, Missouri. There are 3 different sides, different routes to climb and a variety of skill levels required. Trained facilitators will guide Girl Scout Brownies through Ambassadors along the course for an exciting and memorable adventure.The climbing wall and zipline will be open April through December 2021.
Cost is $14 per participant
Troops who exceed the person limit per time slot can choose more than one time slot. Adult Girl Scout members wishing to participate in this activity must register. If a girl is registering to attend without her troop, an adult must accompany her to camp and be present during the program. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time.
Please note: The Climbing Wall and Zip Line are one program. Participants must climb the wall in order to zip line.
The following equipment is provided: Climbing Helmet - UIAA approved; A Chest or Seat Harness
All climbing wall and zip line participants must wear:
- Climbing helmet (provided)
- Chest or seat harness (provided)
- Sturdy, closed toe athletic shoes, no sandals.
- Close-fitting clothing and long pants (recommended)
- Raingear, if necessary
- Sunscreen (climbing wall is not in the shade)
All climbing wall and zip line participants must:
- Have hair tied back
- Remove necklaces, bracelets, and dangling earrings before climbing
- Bring a refillable water bottle
Optional items to bring:
- Climbing gloves – limited quantities available at Camp Fiddlecreek to borrow
Districts and Neighborhoods may reserve the Climbing Wall and Zip Line for events by contacting the Answer Center at 314.400.4600 or answercenter@girlscoutsem.org
In case of inclement weather, please call 314.592.2346 on the morning of your session for information regarding closing of the climbing wall/zip line. If the climbing wall/zip line needs to be closed due to weather, your group will be rescheduled for another time slot for the same day or another day, weather permitting.

Individuals wishing to cancel a registration must provide written notification two weeks prior to the session. Requests for a refund due to illness or injury must be accompanied by a physician’s statement and received prior to the session. Written cancellations must be emailed by the registration deadline to the Answer Center at answercenter@girlscoutsem.org to receive a refund.
