Introduce your Girl Scout troop to adventures they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. Troop camp offers activities every girl will fall in love with, whether she’s exploring trails on horseback, scaling a climbing wall, or paddling across a quiet lake or gazing up at the stars. A wide range of activities give Girl Scouts the chance to earn badges, form friendships, and simply have fun. Troop Camp is available most weekends year-round and on weekdays during the summer.

OAC Challenge

Learn the ropes and cheer each other on to complete our thrilling Outdoor Adventure Course.

Horseback Riding

Learn equestrian skills in the arena and on the beautiful wooded trails of Camp Cedarledge.

Get ready for an exhilarating experience at Camp Fiddlecreek! This is the perfect activity for troops looking for a high adventure experience or a unique bonding activity. The climbing wall and zipline are open to any troop or individual Girl Scout. Participants are also welcome to pack a picnic and enjoy the other activities at Camp Fiddlecreek like climbing on the spider net, taking a hike or playing GaGa ball. The climbing wall and zipline are operated by trained facilitators who assist Girl Scouts on their memorable outing.

Individuals or groups can register for a 90-minute session, which has a 10-person limit. Troops who exceed the 10-person limit can choose two time slots. If a Girl Scout is registering to attend as an individual, an adult must accompany her to camp and be present during the program. Adults are welcome to register and participate.

Registration Information

Grades: 2-12, adults
Dates: Open on select Saturdays and Sundays from April-December.
Check-in: 10 minutes prior to scheduled time
Registration Deadline: Two weeks before each date

Safety Information

All climbing wall and zip line participants must wear or bring:

Health History, F-57 (will be collected and not returned)
Climbing helmet (provided)
Safety harness (provided)
Sturdy, closed toe athletic shoes, no sandals.
Close-fitting clothing, shirts with sleeves and long pants (recommended)
Sunscreen (climbing wall is not in the shade)

All climbing wall and zip line participants must:

Have hair tied back in a low ponytail
Remove necklaces, bracelets, and dangling earrings before climbing
Bring a refillable water bottle

Outdoor Adventure Course Challenge toggle arrow

Build team spirit, improve communication, inspire ingenuity and develop resourcefulness by participating in a fun and challenging low and high ropes course. In this extraordinary, interactive learning environment, campers are faced with decision-making situations that can be stimulating both mentally and physically, as they navigate obstacles both on the ground and among the trees at the Outdoor Adventure Course (OAC).

Registration Information

Girl Scouts must be in the 6th grade and be 12 years of age or older to participate.
Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis.
Each troop must have a minimum of 8 participants.
Troops are responsible for adult/girl ratios and all food costs for the camp weekend.
Troops must complete an in-town meeting with a lead instructor before their weekend at the OAC.

Horseback Riding toggle arrow

Discover the thrill of horseback riding at Camp Cedarledge! The Cedarledge Equestrian Center is run by experienced wranglers who help Girl Scouts of all levels enjoy and learn about horses.

Program fees range from $20-$45 per participant and are available on Saturdays and Sundays in April, May, September and October.
Girl Scouts do not have to camp to participate in horseback riding at the Camp Cedarledge Equestrian Center.
