St. Louis, MO – February 22, 2021 – Girls Scouts of Eastern Missouri celebrated National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend (February 19-21) by using the power of the cookie program to give back to local healthcare heroes.
Girl Scouts across eastern Missouri created hand-made thank you cards to accompany packages of cookies that were given to local healthcare workers at BJC Healthcare in St. Louis, MO on February 20th. Donations provided a bright spot in the lives of local healthcare workers who have sacrificed tirelessly for eastern Missouri during the pandemic.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri also continue their Project Thank You service project that gives the community the opportunity to donate cookies to the USO of Missouri, Operation Food Search and other nonprofit partners. For each five-dollar donation, Girl Scouts will gift a package of cookies to one of our partner organizations. With close to three weeks remaining in our cookie season, 85,000 donation cookie packages have been collected against a goal of 200,000.
To find a Girl Scout Cookie Booth near you, visit the Girl Scout Cookie Finder at girlscoutsem.org/cookies (or download the Girl Scout Cookie Finder app for IOS or Android mobile devices), enter your zip code, find a troop or cookie booth and make a donation today.
