Badge Blueprints
STEM

Do your girls want to explore outer space? Become a zoologist? Design and build robots? Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri has all the badges and programs girls need to become a star scientist, expert engineer or amazing mathematician! Girls can start by completing one of the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) badges highlighted here, and attend a program or two to complement what they've learned. These experiences enhance what girls learn in the classroom, and offer a fun and educational way to learn more about STEM.

MONEY MANAGEMENT

Earn, save, spend — it's vital that your girls learn how to do each, and Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri provides great ways for girls to do just that. From learning how to sell cookies and make change, to being a savvy shopper and planning for a strong financial future, the highlighted badges below will have girls feeling like a million bucks.

HEALTH

Girl Scouts to the rescue! Help your girls learn about the various aspects of health through Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri's fabulous health badges and programs. Whether she's practicing a fun new dance routine, learning to cook a nutritious snack or pampering herself with a day at the spa, your girl will enjoy every minute, while still discovering the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The badges highlighted here offer a great foundation to get girls excited about health.

Programs in a Box

Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri offers Programs in a Box to make planning your Girl Scout year much easier. Troops or individual volunteers/parents can check out Programs in a Box to help earn a badge, use as activities at troop meetings, enjoy at troop camp, or as a service project to work with a younger troop. Each box includes most of the supplies needed to complete the activities—other supplies are listed separately. While the boxes have a target age level, you are welcome to check out a box at another level if available.

Program boxes may be reserved and checked out through the Emerson Resource Center. Due to the value of materials in the boxes, a $25 deposit is required at time of pick-up. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the box with all materials intact.
