Legacy and Planned Gifts

By making a gift through estate planning, you will make a difference in the lives of the girls we serve and have the potential to improve your financial and tax situation.

To design a gift that benefits the people and organizations you care about most, we recommend you obtain the professional counsel of an attorney who specializes in estate planning. We can work with your advisors to help you plan for tomorrow and receive maximum benefits today.

If you would like to make a planned gift and become an official member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society, please email the Fund Development department.

Additional resources, including free will and trust preparation, can be found here.

Juliette Gordon Low Society

The Juliette Gordon Low Society of planned giving donors celebrates girls of the future and ensures their opportunity to be Girl Scouts.  Together, we will empower girls to reach their fullest potential and build a better world.

At Girl Scouts, we believe that when girls succeed, so does society. Whether they’re coding robots, planting trees, collecting cans of food or petitioning Congress, Girl Scouts are building a better world for all of us. But we need your help to make sure every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ in every zip code develops the confidence that Girl Scouts nurtures.

As a Juliette Gordon Low Society member, you will be invited to attend special recognition events. Other benefits include a subscription to the Society newsletter, listing as a Society member in select Girl Scout publications, access to digital resources and a special membership lapel pin.

Leadership Legacy Fund

Gaye Rieschel dedicated herself to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri for decades. She was a volunteer, a trusted leader, a mentor, and a friend to many. To celebrate her service, and to honor her memory, her Girl Scout sisters established the Leadership Legacy Fund. This fund will provide scholarships for three programs that were dear to Gaye, and are critical as girls today grow in courage, confidence and character.

These programs are Camp, Destinations and Girl Delegate Participation in the National Council Session.

We invite you to invest in girls by making a gift in Gaye's memory to the Leadership Legacy Fund.
