At our council’s annual meeting in March of 2023, delegates were elected to represent our council at the national convention in July of 2023. The delegates engaged and gathered feedback from Girl Scout members in our council, learned about proposals, and took action to be the voice of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri during the national council session. They then brought back information to share locally. These delegates continue to be authorized to vote on behalf of our council in the interim.
These delegates are now being called to a special session on Oct. 19. In advance of that session we want your feedback on two proposals related to dues increases.
Please complete the below survey so that your input can be summarized and shared with the council delegates before the Special National Council Session.
Please know that if the final decision results in a membership dues increase, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will remain diligent and committed to ensuring that our girl services are inclusive and accessible to all Girl Scouts throughout eastern Missouri. Regardless of economic background or financial status, we will continue to offer resources to provide an accessible pathway for every member and future members to join our girl scout community.
