St. Louis, MO – Nov. 8 – Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri is pleased to announce Mandy Ray as its new Chief Development Officer, effective Monday, Nov. 27, 2017.
Ray’s 12 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and development includes her previous role as the Senior Associate Director of Development at Washington University’s School of Engineering & Applied Science in St. Louis. Ray has dedicated her efforts to empowering women by establishing and organizing the Women & Engineering program which was created to inspire and mentor Washington University’s female students.
“The mission of Girl Scouting is what excites me about this position,” she said. “It is a passion of mine to empower young women, to help them become more confident and to do amazing things. This is something I’ve always been passionate about and I’m excited to put that in practice every day.”
Ray will oversee strategic planning, implementation, management and oversight of all fundraising and donor relation activities for the organization as it continues to develop today’s girls into tomorrow’s leaders.
A St. Louis native, Ray received her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Webster University and resides with her husband and three young children in the metro area.
