Girl
Scout Gold Award Process |
| |
When deciding on a Girl Scout Gold Award project, begin with
reviewing the resource list, community organizations and organizations
involved in your areas of interest including career, service or
personal. Determine what needs the organization may have and build
your project around addressing one of those needs. Collaboration
with the community is an important part of the Girl Scout Gold
Award project. Consider attending a Gold Award Workshop.
At least six weeks before a Girl Scout begins her Girl Scout
Gold Award project; the Girl Scout Gold Award Project Proposal/Project
Plan must be submitted. This paperwork must be submitted by January 15 in order to be considered in time to meet
the March 1st deadline for recognition in the current year's Reflection
Ceremony.
Please send all Girl Scout Gold Award correspondence and forms

The U.S. Army distributes a recognition certificate and letter
of congratulations to girls who earn the Girl Scout Gold Award.
Recipients who choose a career in the Army may enter at the E-2
