St. Louis, MO – March 6, 2017 – Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri is offering unique spring break programs in March for girls in grades K-5. Programs provide an ideal way for new girls to experience Girl Scouting as well as for members old and new to have fun, make new friends and have a unique experience, all while learning something different. Programs will take place the week of March 13 and March 20.
Programs run 8:30 am to 5 pm. The cost of $40 per girl which includes lunch, snacks and field trip transportation. Not a Girl Scout? Not a problem! Girls can register for the fun and become a member by visiting girlscoutsem.org/register.
March 13 or 20
Girls enjoy a field trip to the Federal Reserve Bank where they play mega money games, experience a simulation vault, see the Million Dollar Cube and receive a special gift from the Federal Reserve! Girls participate in story time, explore downtown and enjoy lunch at Citygarden (weather permitting).
In the afternoon, girls return to the Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center for more Money Monday fun and an appearance by the Gateway Spotlight Chorus (March 13 only)!
March 14 or 21
Join us on this day of exploration while learning healthy habits. Girl Scouts go on a field trip to the new HealthWorks! Kids’ Museum where they have fun while learning new things about their health! After returning to the Program Center, girls play games that get them up and moving.
March 15 or 22
Girls have a day of fun with food as they perform food science experiments, taste test and make delicious snacks in the kitchen. They also travel by bus to explore the Saint Louis Science Center’s new GROW exhibit.
