Bring your most meaningful pictures, quotes, souvenirs to create a collage of your favorite pastime. Fulfills partial requirements for the Artistic Crafts Interest Project.

Simple Jewelry-Making Workshop mouse - (C, S, A/grades 6-12)

Learn basic wire and bead jewelry-making skills as you create a pair of earrings and a bracelet/ankle bracelet or a necklace. Glass and crystal beads, sterling silver beads and all tools included. Fulfills partial requirements for the From Fitness to Fashion, Folk Arts, and Just Jewelry Interest Projects.

Bring your film or digital camera and go on a photo "safari" with an awarding-winning art photographer. Learn lighting tricks, shooting at different angles, and what pros look for in that special photograph. Fulfills partial requirements for the Photography Interest Project.

Color in the Visual Arts mouse - (C, S, A/grades 6-12)

Learn about colors and color theory from an interior designer. Put together a color encyclopedia of different shades and how they complement each other. Fulfills partial requirement for Visual Crafts Interest Project.

Studio Photography Workshop mouse - (C, S, A/grades 6-12)
April 7 from 7-9 pm @ Jeane Vogel Photography, Crestwood; $30

Learn about equipment, lights and how to create a portrait photo. Make portraits with professional cameras, lighting and backgrounds. Receive a professional copy of your portrait. Fulfills partial requirement for the Photography Interest Project.

Musical Overnight mouse - (C/grades 6-8 troops)
April 17-18 from 7 pm Sat.-9 am Sun. @ STAGES Performing Arts Academy, Chesterfield; $41/girl; Troop Leaders are free.

Register through March 19 using Troop Program Application in the Spring 2010 issue of Leader Program Bulletin. Troops will be chosen through the random pull system. A $41 deposit per troop is required at time of registration.

Sing, dance and perform some of musical theatre's biggest “high school years” hits. Visit young people throughout the decades through scenes and songs from teen shows such as Grease, Annie and High School Musical. Rehearse a scene, learn choreography, and sing both in a group and solo. At the end of the overnight, perform for your parents as they arrive to take you home.
