FOR GIRLS
| FOR VOLUNTEERS | FOR CUSTOMERS | FOR GIRL SCOUT FAMILIES

Thank you for giving girls your time, energy and enthusiasm!
This year, Girl Scouts everywhere are being Inspired - inspired by adult volunteers like U!

As a volunteer, here’s your chance to help girls change the world one package of Girl Scout Cookies at a time!

Reserving Cookie Costumes for Booth Sales
A limited number of cookie costumes are available for troops who will be hosting cookie booths. Troops are limited to one costume reservation during these three weekends so as many troops as possible can participate.

Costumes are only available for booths for the weekend of March 12-15, 2010. (Please note: All slots for Feb. 26-March 1 and March 5-8 have been filled; no costumes are available for these weekends.)

Here’s the fine print: You must be able to pick up the costume on the Friday of the weekend in which you will be using it. You must return the costume on the following Monday. Both pick-up and return must be made between 9 am and 4 pm.

To reserve a costume, contact Barbara Arnold at 314.592.2320 or barnold@girlscoutsem.org.  We will need your name, phone number and mailing address/e-mail address (for confirmation information) as well as your troop, neighborhood and district numbers.

Demand is great with all costumes often being booked by the end of January. Make your request today!

Receipts

Opt Out – Form due to Neighborhood Cookie Manager by February 3 – No exceptions!
Cadette, Senior and Ambassador troops have the option of receiving $.05 more for each package of cookies sold instead of cumulative incentives if they have a per girl average of 125 packages. Each girl will still receive a participation patch and segment for her level of sales. A troop might consider completing the form even if it is uncertain whether the minimum will be obtained. With a little planning, you could have a fantastic sale!

Travel MugThank You Gift
Hold two or more booths with total sales of 300+ packages and accept two “Inspired by U” Travel Mugs as our way of saying, “Thank You!”

Gift of Caring
Making the world a better place is central to the Girl Scout mission. Through the cookie Gift of Caring program, Girl Scouts will continue to honor the non-profit organizations, food banks, military, and uniformed personnel who are so important to our community. Customers may purchase a box of cookies to donate to a local charity of the troop’s choosing – a perfect solution for those who pass on the tempting treats! Girls learn about the invaluable work of their recipients by taking tours, learning about careers in public service, and helping with community service projects. All Gift of Caring purchases are tax deductible.
