Troop Account Fee Waiver Update

Effective immediately, Bank of America will no longer waive the fee on Troop accounts.  Last year GSEM selected Commerce Bank as our primary bank.  We are pleased to announce that as a result, Commerce now provides cost-free checking (troops must pay the cost of check printing) for all GSEM troops.  Former Bank of America troops may choose to open an account at Commerce in order to avoid service charges.  In order to obtain free checking, troops may contact any Commerce Bank branch.  All Commerce Bank branches have instructions on how to open troop accounts.  If there is no convenient Commerce Bank location, or if you choose to utilize the services of another bank, this is your choice.  

Be reminded that the council does not make decisions related to your troop account as council staff are not authorized signers on troop accounts.  Troop accounts are managed by the authorized signers on the accounts.
