Marcia joined Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri (GSEM) with more than 20 years of Girl Scout leadership experience from three Girl Scout councils – serving primarily as the CEO/Executive Director. As a former girl member, adult volunteer and summer camp staff, she knows first-hand how much non-profit organizations rely on volunteers. One program Marcia brought to GSEM is
Camp CEO, a four-day leadership program in which girl participants learn from successful women.
Outside the office
Marcia stays active in the community through a variety of groups:
- St. Louis Forum
- American Camp Association
- United Way of Greater St. Louis Women’s Leadership Giving Initiative
- Rotary Clubs, active member of the St. Louis Downtown Club; Past President, two other Rotary Clubs
