Make an Impact

As a Girl Scout volunteer, you can make a positive impact in the life of a girl! You'll see their eyes light up with the excitement of a new idea as you inspire their enthusiasm and support their dreams.   As you give of your time and talents, you’ll enjoy the rewards of helping today's girls become tomorrow's leaders.

Being a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri doesn't necessarily mean being a troop leader.  We know you're busy. That's why we have many different volunteer opportunities that allow you to be a Girl Scout volunteer in your timeframe—once a year, once a month or once a week. You could help out at a council-sponsored Girl Scout event doing anything from face-painting to helping girls learn a new dance.  Or you could be matched up with a troop to help them complete badge activities in your area of expertise or interest.

What's Right for You

GSEM volunteer opportunities are as varied as the people we’re looking to fill these roles.  Volunteers can participate all year long, or for a single activity.  And we’re here to support your efforts if you’d like to refresh a skill or venture into something new.  Girl Scouts offers courses and workshops for a wide range of interests to enhance your volunteer experience.

However you choose to volunteer, we know you'll make a difference. Fill out our interest survey and we'll contact you within two weeks with more information about volunteering with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, or call the Volunteer Services department at 314.592.2319.
