The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri welcomes our new Chief Executive Officer, Marcia Barber. Marcia, a certified Girl Scout CEO, comes to St. Louis from Girl Scouts - Trillium Council in southwestern Pennsylvania, where she spent eight years as CEO. Marcia has an additional 11 years of experience with two other Girl Scout Councils and 20 years as a girl member, adult volunteer and summer camp staff. As a volunteer, Marcia was a troop leader, trainer and helped with older girl program.

In addition to her Girl Scout involvement, Marcia is a standards visitor and trainer for the American Camping Association, has been president of two Rotary Clubs, and was a volunteer with the Women & Girls Foundation of Southwest Pennsylvania, CORO's Women's Mentorship Program, the Women's Commission of Allegheny County and the Homeless Children's Education Fund.
