As an incentive for registering early, your troop can attend the Troop Round Up of your choice. Girls will enjoy an action packed day at camp from 10 am-4 pm on Oct. 3 at Camp Tuckaho or Oct. 10 at Camp Cedarledge. Each troop can only register for one Troop Round Up.

Troop Round Up will offer a wide range of new and exciting hands on activities as well as some favorites. Activities themed around; Health, Money Management, STEM, and Traditional Camp fun! In addition, older girls will have a special area and activities just for them. 

Special Activities

Below are special activities for each camp that girls can also register for:

Camp Tuckaho

  • Zip line for girls ages 12 and older
  • Archery and Canoeing for Juniors through Ambassadors

Camp Cedarledge

  • Horseback Ring Ride for Daisies and Brownies
  • Archery and Canoeing for Juniors through Ambassadors

These special activities will be available online on a first come, first served basis beginning July 31. In order to better serve more girls, girls should register for only one special activity of their choose.

Adult Troop Helper

Troops are required to supply one adult helper. They are assigned to one program area to help with an activity for two hours. They can then join their troop and have a great time!

Camping

Troops have the option to camp the whole weekend. Camping at both camps is available for Girl Scout Brownie through Ambassador troops at an additional cost of $5 per person. Troops share units to maximize space. 

To camp, troops must provide the following:

  • Camping Procedures or Troop Camp Certification (one adult per troop)
  • Meals for the weekend
  • Additional activities for troop at camp beyond the Troop Round Up event

Troops must follow Troop Camp Procedures and girl/adult ratio guidelines for camping on Council-owned property.

Register for 2016 membership and Troop Round Up by:

  • May 31 - cost for Troop Round Up is $5 per person
  • July 31 - cost for Troop Round Up is $10 per person
  • September 15 - cost for Troop Round Up is $15 per person

The cost includes daytime camp fees, activities, snacks, beverages and event patch.

Note: If you register for 2016 membership in May but don’t register for Troop Round Up until July, you will pay the $10 Troop Round Up cost.
