Camp Tuckaho is located near Troy, Mo., about 90 minutes northwest of St. Louis and encompasses 542 acres of wooded, rolling hills and wide meadows. It opened in 1966 as Camp Troy to give area Girl Scouts another camping option and to reduce the load on the other camps. Girls and volunteers may enjoy a renovated dining hall, a pool to accommodate girls with disabilities and a nature center. Campers can stay in tents, tree houses, Conestoga wagons or cabins.
